About
The objectives and purposes of the Task Force
- To provide training and consultation to state, local, community and professional organizations involved with DUII training, enforcement, treatment and prevention.
- To serve as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas involving DUII training.
- To assist in eliminating the alcohol/drug impaired driver from Oregon roadways.
- To ensure sound principles are followed during the planning, implementation and evaluation of training provided at the annual Task Force conference.
- To promote the dissemination of knowledge concerning DUII in an effort to reduce impaired driving through public and private partnerships.
- To promote the fulfillment of and adherence to laws, statutes, Oregon Administrative Rules, local policies and procedures, and regulations to enhance DUII deterrence.
- To promote the creation and refinement of skills for the performance and quality control of individuals performing DUII training, enforcement, treatment and prevention.
- To foster relationships, exchange information and work toward common goals with other organizations, agencies and individuals involved in similar activities.
- To support legislation that will accomplish the objectives and purposes of this Task Force.
