About

The objectives and purposes of the Task Force

To provide training and consultation to state, local, community and professional organizations involved with DUII training, enforcement, treatment and prevention.
To serve as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas involving DUII training.
To assist in eliminating the alcohol/drug impaired driver from Oregon roadways.
To ensure sound principles are followed during the planning, implementation and evaluation of training provided at the annual Task Force conference.

To promote the dissemination of knowledge concerning DUII in an effort to reduce impaired driving through public and private partnerships.
To promote the fulfillment of and adherence to laws, statutes, Oregon Administrative Rules, local policies and procedures, and regulations to enhance DUII deterrence.
To promote the creation and refinement of skills for the performance and quality control of individuals performing DUII training, enforcement, treatment and prevention.
To foster relationships, exchange information and work toward common goals with other organizations, agencies and individuals involved in similar activities.
To support legislation that will accomplish the objectives and purposes of this Task Force.
